9. Presentation ceremony


All presentations will take place at the conclusion of all fixtures at 4.30pm. We would ask teams to congregate on the terrace at the final whistle.

Playing awards will be presented as the following:

  • U12 festival winners
  • All U12 players will receive participation medals
  • U14 cup and plate winners
  • U16 league champions and runners up
  • U18 fixture winners

In addition, nominations have been coming in from clubs and players for our three coveted season awards as noted below. Winners have been chosen by the Women and Girls Working Group committee.

TREDS Awards

Awarded to the player who best embodies the core values of rugby.

Shortlisted nominees are:

  • Emily Rackham - Diss Rugby Club
  • Rachel Cooper - St Neots Rugby Club
  • Annie Gill - Crusaders Rugby Club

Coach of the Season Award

Awarded to the coach who has gone above and beyond to develop players, demonstrates best practice and shown growth and development in their coaching style.

Shortlisted nominees:

  • Adam Haycock - Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club
  • Matt Rose - Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Club
  • Tina Standley - Wymondham Rugby Club
  • Sian Hall - Norwich Rugby Club

Spirit of Rugby Award

Awarded to the volunteer who personifies the spirit of rugby in their commitment to supporting the girls' game. The unsung hero.

Shortlisted nominees:

  • Jules Hathaway - Wymondham Rugby Club
  • Ruth Tomlinson - Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Club
  • Claire Honess - Norwich Rugby Club

At 5pm there will be a closing address from the President of Eastern Counties Rugby Union Ian Forton.
