Men's 2nd XV – 2025/26 Season

Ipswich RFC’s Men's 2nd XV competes in Eastern Counties Greene King Division One South (Level 9), a competitive league that regularly features strong 1st XV opposition from across the region.

Squad & Coaching Support

This dedicated squad is always striving to improve, with players consistently pushing for higher honours within the senior men's section. The team benefits from the support of a **dedicated senior coach** at all training sessions and matchdays, ensuring continuity in playing style, development, and commitment.

With this structure in place, players remain in a competitive environment while building the skills and confidence needed to progress to the next level.

We’re also proud to have Ian Simpson, our newly appointed Head of Performance, overseeing player development across the club. His expertise adds an exciting layer of support and professionalism to the 2nd XV setup.

Training & Recruitment

Our senior men train together every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm, and we always welcome new players of all abilities. Whether you're returning to the game or trying rugby for the first time, there’s a place for you at Ipswich RFC.

Prefer to support from the sidelines? Come down on Saturday afternoons to cheer on the 2nd XV.
