Ipswich RFC’s Men’s 1st XV proudly competes in Counties 1 Eastern Counties – London & South East (Level 7), representing the club with determination, professionalism, and a commitment to high‑quality rugby.

Coaching & Performance Team
Our senior men’s programme is led by Head Coach Adam Pickering, supported by a strong and experienced team:

Jeff Searle – Senior Coach

Tony Welham – Team Manager

Lucy Meyer – Team Physio

Adam continues to work closely with Oliver Hall, Vice Chair (Playing), ensuring a consistent coaching philosophy and player‑centred approach across all senior and junior pathways.

We are also delighted to have Ian Simpson, our Head of Performance, driving standards in conditioning, preparation, and player development throughout the club.

Training & Player Recruitment
As we enter the 2026/27 season, the squad is building momentum and strengthening across all areas. We welcome new players of every ability level who want to be part of an ambitious, friendly, and well‑supported club environment.

Senior Men’s Training
Tuesdays & Thursdays – 7:00pm
New players are encouraged to come along, meet the squad, and get involved.

Match Days at Humber Doucy Lane

If you prefer to support from the sidelines, we’d love to see you on Saturday afternoons for home fixtures. Match days at Ipswich RFC offer:
