Women's Development XV –The Furies | 2025/26 Season

Following the success of our Women’s XV in National Challenge 1 East, Ipswich RFC is proud to launch the Furies our womens Development Team for the 2025/26 season.

This exciting new squad is designed to support the continued growth of women’s rugby at the club, offering a welcoming and structured pathway for new players to the game and Athenas transitioning from our youth girls section into senior rugby.

Whether you're picking up a rugby ball for the first time or stepping up from junior level, the Development Team provides a space to learn, grow, and thrive—on and off the pitch.

Coaching Team
The Development Team shares the same experienced coaching setup as our senior squad:
- Amanda Jones – Head Coach
- Supported by a dedicated team focused on player development, team culture, and progression

Amanda brings fresh energy and a clear vision for building a strong, inclusive women’s programme at Ipswich RFC, with a focus on nurturing talent and creating opportunities for all.

Fixtures & Match Days
Development fixtures will run alongside the senior calendar, with most matches taking place on Sunday afternoons and occasional Saturday home games. We encourage supporters to come down and cheer on the next generation of Scorpions.
