North Walsham U14 v Ipswich U14

Building on the continued successful run of form the U14's was another away win for lads this time at North Walsham.

It was our first trip up the deep dark depths of Norfolk with different sat navs sending people numerous different ways to the London 1 club, but we all got there in the end even with Phil's hangover and I have been scratching my head trying to remember the last time we played them and a U9's match at HDL seems to ring a bell, so it was a good to catch up with other coaches and the boys to continue their rugby education by visiting and playing other clubs. Following on from the recent 90-0 win against Eley and the 0-31 away win against Sudbury in the cup and in true U14's style we managed to turn out 15 players, but what a 15 we have, with some of the best rugby you would be able to watch at any level, any age group, anywhere.

The off loading game, line speed in defence, ball handing skills in wet muddy conditions, commitment in the tackle, clearing out the ruck by the forwards giving the backs good quick ball and some great individual trys, but the most pleasing was the whole team performance, togetherness and everyone's contributions to that magical try in the corner. As advised on the day, there is always a plan and the lads are giving the freedom to express themselves and try new plays and it was great to see one come off.

They even won the post match changing room dance off!!!

Sudbury at HDL this Sunday and looking forward to another great game of rugby.
