Great County Cup win at the Lane today for U14 Black

Ipswich U14 Black 29 v 5 Stowmarket U14 (Tries: Harry, Kajeai, Joe M, Call M, Ollie S, Cons: Call M 2)

A great cup game in front of a good crowd on a filthy day at the Lane saw us run out comfortable winners against a committed Stowmarket side that made for an excellent contest. Really pleased with the group and every lad stepped up today and played their part.

Star men

Our pack were immense today and it must be a pleasure to have that group infront of our back line giving them platforms all over the park. Our front three were excellent, our back three choking Stowmarket everywhere they tried to find holes, our second rows dominant.

Our backs were very good also. Our pace at times was frightening, our hands also in patches very good.

MoM went to Kajeai. A very good game amongst a plethora of exceptional performances from our side. Well done that man.
