Ipswich RFC U13's saw out a hard-fought victory against a barbarians team comprising Stowmarket and Southwold (and later Ipswich) U13 players. Strong defensive work from both sides saw tries kept to a minimum in a strongly contested but good-natured game.
The second half saw several Ipswich players swap sides to keep the numbers of the opposition up, most notably Sebastian Summers, who scored his customary try against his side.
