A strong performance against Sudbury saw Ipswich U13s run in 9 tries to one against.
Despite what the score might suggest, this was no walk-over for the Killers Bees, who had to show a great deal of determination and team spirit to overcome Sudbury. There was a noticeable improvement in handling, tackling and line speed saw Ipswich hold out defensively until the final minute when Sebastian Summers (playing for Sudbury) broke through and scored with the final play of the match. There were stand-out performances across the pitch but man-of-the-match went to Alex Osborne. His all-round performance was very good, but it was his display of sportsmanship and honesty which won him the accolade.
