Thank you to everyone that came and supported at RHS today and well done to all the boys that played. A great day and although 7’s is very new to us I was very proud of the black and gold today as we did everything and more to show what a great age group and club we are to the rest of the local rugby community.

I’m not going to write a long match report tonight. I have plenty of those ahead of me and with the new rules many later nights on the admin front but I just wanted to highlight a few things that were fed back to me across the day.

Firstly well done all three squads. To come away with two plate wins was brilliant in our first attempt at 7’s. You should all be very proud of yourselves. That you’re all a touch disappointed shows how high the bar is in this age group now. We’ve created a mentality that is positive and hard working. We know we could all have worked harder at times today but we will take today and play a bit of 7’s throughout the season with our own 7’s tournament in mind at the end of the season.
