County Cup Round 3

Ipswich Black U15 53 - 0 Stowmarket U15 (Tries: Sadds 2, Murph, Gibbo, Tom 2, Alex 2, Dom Cons: Vic 3, Murph)

On a windy afternoon at the Lane today, Ipswich U15 Black turned on the style again to put 50 points on a side for the second time in the Cup competition this season. The boys have worked so hard on their roles and responsibilities, the breakdown, platforms, exits, lines and flow that we are really beginning to look like a formidable outfit.

The performance today was clinical against a Stowmarket side that kept at it and controlled the ball for a chunk of the second half with the wind. We didn't panic though. As it has been all season, our D was outstanding and our line speed really very good.

We have individual and team work ons as always from the game but we are all looking forward to a week off to recharge the batteries a little.
