Braintree 0 v 43 Ipswich U15 Black (Tries: Joe M 2, Vic 2, Tom, Gibbo, Sadds Conv: Rozza 3, Vic 1)

A blustery day in Essex against a big, bruising Braintree side made for interesting viewing this morning. Simply, to a man we were outstanding. We went toe-to-toe with a Braintree side used to getting their own way and played some wonderful flowing rugby.

Our breakdown work today was outstanding and some of the tries were exceptional. These are the levels that are expected from within the group now by the players. Our fitness looks at about 85% of where I’d like it to be and we will keep working on that but if we can produce the levels we’ve put together over the last two weeks we will be more than okay.
