Ipswich Women's Rugby offer you a great training opportunity this summer in partnership with FireTiger Fitness - no matter your sport, no matter your experience.

Our 10 week programme gives you the chance to train with like-minded female athletes in a relaxed setting, making new friends and opening up new opportunities.

  • 7pm-8pm on Wednesday evenings, starting Weds 2nd July
  • 10 week programme
  • Ipswich Rugby Club, Humber Doucy Lane, Ipswich, IP4 3PZ
  • £35 per person (discount for IRFC members)
  • FREE training top included
  • Register now

Training will be structured to build a well-rounded athletic foundation for all levels, ensuring you are stronger, fitter, more powerful, more resilient and ultimately ready to tackle any challenge on the field next season. It's designed to elevate your performance and improve your overall wellbeing.

The training modules below will be the overarching themes to the programme providing you with the strength, agility and power that life and rugby (or whichever sport you choose) require:

Building 'roar' strength: Gain and strengthen muscle, and apply greater force. Strength for dominant tackles, strong scrums and breaking through the line.

Putting the 'sting' in explosive power: Combine speed and strength to create an explosive edge, bursts of speed for tackles, power in carries, height in line-outs and ultimate power for the last metre into contact.

'Tiger territory' endurance to dominate: The ability to repeatedly perform movements and actions for 80+ minutes, consistently, accurately, fast and with power; sustained effort and end-of-game fitness.

'Embrace the fire' engine work: Cardiovascular strength, speed and speed endurance. Cover more ground, recover more quickly between plays (and post-match) and maintain intensity throughout the entire game.

'Welcome the venom' lactic threshold: Teach your body to cope with more lactic acid circulating in your body. Push your limits, sustain a higher intensity for longer periods with less rest and increase your pace to create impactful plays deeper into the game, improve your decision-making and reduce fatigue.

Register now for just £35 (discount for IRFC members) and receive your FREE training top.
