Ipswich 1st XV are set to host Ipswich Y.M. on Saturday 23 September in arguably the most anticipated game of the season, and we invite all supporters to join us for our first match day lunch of the season.

The match
Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season after our Men's XV lost away to Ely Tigers and Ipswich YM fell a point short against Southwold.

It sets the scene for a competitive fixture with the long-standing local rivalry always bringing passion to the pitch, along with a few handbags every now and then.

Who will come out on top in the second week of the Counties 1 EC league? We can't wait to find out!

Have a flutter at our ever popular Heads & Tails game and a new Guess the Score game as we build up to kick-off at 3pm.

Our Under 7s and Under 8s minis will be mascots as the teams run out and you can look forward to player presentations before and after the game, led by local businesses who are instrumental in their support for our club.

We’re expecting a big crowd and electric atmosphere, with all sections of the club in attendance. Our Under 15s will be running a fundraising BBQ outside for their upcoming tour for those who don't book onto our match day lunch.

The bar staff have reliably assured us that the bar will be fully stocked, but we’re sure we can change that by the end of the day with your help!
