We are delighted to welcome Ash Cook to the senior coaching staff at the club, joining the established team of Jim Clark (Head Coach), Adam Pickering and Jeff Searle.

Ash will bring a complimentary skillset to the others, with a focus on attacking play. He joins having completed a successful last season as Director of Senior Rugby at Stowmarket RFC, guiding them to safety in level 6 rugby, where the Ipswich 1st XV will be aiming to bounce back to during the 2023/24 season.

We are excited about his experience with working with young talent through his current role as a teacher and coach at Ipswich School, as well as previous experience as a Northampton Saints DPP High Performance Rugby Coach and leading the University of Essex Rugby Programme (for men and women). He will also work closely with Jeff focusing on the Strength & Conditioning of the squad.
