The U10s were made to work hard in the mud against a well drilled Woodbridge team. Woodbridge came with 2 teams both of which contained talented runners whose passing and speed at the breakdown gave them the edge over both Black and Gold. Nonetheless, the boys got stuck in and steadily improved as the morning progressed. For Black, Viggo made a number of his now trademark barnstorming runs - bulldozing through the Woodbridge defence, ably supported by his brother Junior, Riley and Tommy. Lincoln, Luca and Cameron were busy around the field with some solid runs coming from Frankie, Leo and Isaac. For Gold, Arthur and Tomos were in the thick of the action with solid support coming from Bryn and Daniel. Jamie, Kamron, William, Seb and Dylan all put in some strong attacking runs with Seb refusing to be slowed down by the loss of one boot that became stuck in the mud on the halfway line! Both Black and Gold will need to work on their speed at the breakdown for their next outing to Harwich but there were plenty of positives.
