Ipswich Captain Fraser Pratt with his No10 Pete LeMarqland Celebrate Suffolk Cup Win
The Ipswich first XV became heroes as they gave everything to beat a high class Bury St Edmunds side. Ipswich ran in two well worked tries and put their hearts on the line to keep out relentless pressure from the visitors late on in the second half. The final moments of the match seemed to take forever as Ipswich clung onto a four point lead. Danny Gillins, Ipswich winger, made a stunning last ditch tackle to save the game. Fantastic work lads! I am sure the whole town will be delighted with your success. Indeed Ipswich RUFC would like to thank the supporters who turned out tonight from far and wide to witness this triumph.
