U16s Coach's Report December 2011
Under Dave Dodds’ continued leadership, the Boys started the season with a “bang” by winning the RHS 7s Plate against a strong Clacton team. Despite a series of very strong performances in the Suffolk Plate and in club fixtures these games have has not produced the results that the effort and skill of this group of Boys so richly deserves. Having won arguably the best match in their age group vs. Southwold, the U16s just missed out on a Suffolk Plate Final by losing narrowly vs. Woodbridge when decisions simply did not go their way. Our admiration for these Boys grew when they cast aside their disappointment to push Norfolk’s finest, Wymondham, very close the following week; somebody, somewhere is going to get a thumping !
