We aim to finish by 4.00

Each team will play 4 others in 7 minute each way games.

A 'batting order' is determined.
The top 4 play 2 x semi finals and a final for the Trophy.
The next 4 play 2 x semi finals and a final for the Plate.
The next 4 play 2 x semi finals and a final for the Bowl.
and so on .....

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

All Matches will last 7 minutes each way with a 1 Minute half time break.

All games will be played under the Laws of Rugby Football, as amended
for Under 15 / 19 games. Rolling Substitutes are allowed - these may be unlimited
allowed, but please be sensible with the timing of introductions.

There is no maximum squad size.

All Players must be Under 15 on 1st September 2018, and should be over
13 on the same date. (i.e Under 14s can play, but not Under 13s)
If any club fields an overage player the club will be Disqualified
immediately and will take no further part.
[Except where a players has received a CB authorised Dispensation.]
If any club has any player who 'looks Over-Age' it would be helpful if
evidence of age is brought to the Festival to avoid arguments.

Any player sent off will take no further part in the Tournament, and will be
reported by the Referee to the relevant Constituent Body. No direct
replacement will be allowed in that current game, but the team will be able
to field a full side in subsequent games.
If a 'Yellow Card' is given, the Temporary Suspension will last 2 Minutes.

During 'Round-Robin' games, 4 Points for a win, 2 Points for a Draw,
1 Bonus Point for if 3 Tries scored, 1 Bonus Point if Losing by 7 points or less

If a team falls short of 'qualified' Front Row Forwards, games will continue
with Uncontested Scrums, with results counting towards the Competition.
If, for any reason, a team is unable to field a full 15 players, the opposing club
will be requested to equalise the numbers, in the interests of safety.

Qualification for the Afternoon's knockout competitions
will depend on the team's position in the Morning's 'Round-Robin' pools.
If there is a Tie for any place, positions will be decided by a) Points Scored
b) Points Conceded c) Result between 2 clubs concerned d) toss of coin

If there is a Draw after 7 Minutes each-way in a Knock-Out match,
the winner will be the scorer of the first Try in that game;
if no Try has been scored the winner will be the scorer of the first points;
if there is no score, the winner will be the team with the best playing record
prior to that game, the decision of the Tournament Umpire being Final.
In a Final, if there is a Draw theTrophy will be shared.

All teams must provide a competent Touch-Judge for all games except
the Trophy Final.There will be a Boot/Stud/Kit Inspection immediately prior
to each club's first match. All squad members should be present.

Any disputes will be referred to the Tournament Umpire. Any decision
of the Tournament Umpire or the Tournament Committee is Final.
