2010 Player Awards
At the Annual Dinner on Friday 23rd April the following awards were given:
Player of the year - Alex Primmer (Club Captain)
Forward of the year - Gavin Ball
Back of the year - Ryan Potkins
U15s Festival Winners
Ipswich Under 15's won the South Coast Festival Rugby on 18th April. The lads played with great enthusiasm, skillfully winning all but one of their matches in thos end of season tour.

First XV Charity Match - 1st May
On Saturday 1st May Ipswich Rugby Club be hosted a charity match in aid of The Taylor Deakin Westley-Smith Forever Fund which supports Meningitis UK. The match will took place between Ipswich XV and an invitational side at Humber Doucy Lane. The event was organised by first team player Tim Lloyd. Over £800 was made on the day. Thank you to all those who attended.
U12's Festival Winners
On 18th April the U12's won the South Coast Festival of Rugby at Torquay Devon. This event is now regarded as the biggest two day national mini and junior festival in the UK. Click here for full report.

New Sponsorship for U12s
We are please to announce that Kennedys Law have agreed to sponsor the current U12s for two seasons. The money will be used to buy shirts for the squad.

Team Photos With A Difference
Team photographs can now be viewed at Tim's site www.timbowdenweddings.co.uk/orders.
Tim will be at the club for the final time on Sunday 7th March selling and taking orders. Any print orders after Sunday must be done via the website and postage paid. Any Orders that have been placed already will be ready for collection this sunday as well

We are pleased to announce that local butcher George Debman is now our main supplier of meat. George sources all his high quality meat from local farmers. If you wish to try his meat at home George’s shop is located at 101 Cliff Lane, Ipswich.

We are pleased to announce that the club house is now Wi-Fi enabled. BT Openzone has installed a hotspot which means with a wireless enabled lap-top or hand-held device and a BT Openzone account you can connect to the internet to access your emails or surf the web. Help For Heroes - Second Hand Kit
The club shop has started selling second hand kit with all donations going towards Help for Heroes. If anybody has any old kit that they would like to donate for then please bring them along to the shop during opening hours. Thanks to Alison Young for this great idea, last Sunday morning £70 was raised.
Membership Card
Here is the new Ipswich Rugby Club membership card; each new and renewing member will receive one of these. The card entitles the holder to 10% off drinks from the club bar, eligibility to purchase international tickets and other club related benefits.
